This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under.
