Amazing Experience!
I sent my two kids (9 and 13) to Alton Jones for the first time last summer, they absolutely loved it. My 9 year old did Earth Camp, he loved tree-climbing and kayaking the most! My 13 year old did Teen X Adventure and also loved climbing (she did rock climbing!) and the water park.
I was concerned about the cabins, since most camps have a busy basic set up, but these were great, I wish I had cabins like this when I was a kid!

Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. Please be aware of your child health conditions before attending this event. Instructors will not be liable for any injury that occurs. Upon arrival, Parents are encouraged to check in child(s) at 7am. Please arrive in workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel, plenty of water and fruit. Over two and half days we will bring together some of the leading experts in youth and young adult ministry to give you inspiration and practical tools to transform your ministry to this emerging generation. Felted Bags and Purses - Artists Exchange
This 4 week workshop will focus on making bags and purses using a resist method of wet felting. For many, felt is a crafting material sold in squares made out of some mish-mosh of synthetic fibers. Felting is actually extremely natural and is one of the most ancient art forms in mankinds history. It is still a widely used method which can create anything from clothing to toys and even houses. In this class, students will learn the basic process of wet felting which creates wool fabric by layering raw wool fibers, adding warm soapy water and a little elbow grease. This is an inter-generational class. The felting process is simple but can be very versatile which makes it a great opportunity for parents and children to work together side by side.
