Are you ready for some fun? Get Golf Ready is a fun and affordable golf instruction program for people with little or no golf experience. The Get Golf Ready program is a series of five introductory lessons conducted by PGA/LPGA Professionals in a small-group environment. In this program, we provide a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure. Its a great way to be introduced to the game and become comfortable on the golf course. We will provide you with all the equipment necessary for each session, so there is no further investment for this adventure! If you have ANY questions, no matter how big or small, please call us. 4-Thursday: Art Explorers - Art Room C101
In this class, guided by GMLS art teacher Victoria Polyak, students will explore various art forms - drawing, painting, printmaking, cartooning, and sculpture. Children will learn about composition, value, color and will create a beautiful portfolio of artworks to treasure. This class includes all art supplies! (6 classes) Enrollment is limited to a max of 10 students. Snack is provided. Class Dates: 4/14, *no classes during passover break, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2 8587043700.0
Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. This camp uses the Processing programming language to learn more about programming while making interactive illustrations, animations, and simple games. The Processing language is based on the popular Java language and is designed to appeal to visual artists, so this is a good way to get started in "real" programming. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 7th-10th grade.
