Fundamentals Sports Camp is a six week program which may include basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, Summer Olympics, and flag football. Each week we focus on learning the rules and history of a sport, playing it at least once each day. Old camp favorites such as dodge ball, capture the flag, four square, and pirate ball are incorporated into the program as well. However, Fundamentals Sports Camp is not only about the games we play but it is our "off the field" curriculum that sets us apart form other sports day camps. Informal discussions on sports current events, character-building, sportsmanship, and choosing role models are held daily. Fundamentals teaches children the value of teamwork and commitment which are the essential elements of success in sports, as well as in life. Grand Camp for Kids
My kids enjoyed this camp so much! It was fabulous and the staff was amazing. They were able to do the normal camp activities, but they were also able to do archery, paintball, mountaineering, hiking, campfire programs and they even took a 4 day trek into the Grand Canyon. Save the date, we'll be taking over the insane Roseland Resort for a weekend bonanza of pool parties, camp fires, club ragers and weirdo sunrise woodland excursions together. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. We must respect the rules of the space and adhere to this for the 2015 edition. High School & Junior College Skills & Drills Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Check In & Late Registration: 8:00-9:00 AM at Roadrunner Field. Camp Hours will be from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will provide lunch around 12:30 PM. Purpose: Provide a camp experience much like a UTSA Baseball practice day. From the stretching routine, to a training session with baseball specific training techniques, to lessons on play catch routine, long toss, infield / outfield play, pitching / catching drill work, bunting and baserunning lectures and drills. We will deliver as much information and drill work in a 1 day session as time will allow. Cost will include: T-Shirt, Lunch and Camp Tuition. 5 Week Session Your artist will create five individual canvas paintings! We will explore themes such as bugs, flowers, and the beach all while learning acrylic painting techniques. Aprons will be provided, but please be aware that our artist quality paint does stain. NOTES: 1. Please pack a small PEANUT FREE snack for your child. We will have a 15 min snack break before class starts. 2. After school, students will be dismissed via announcements to the designated area or classroom. If students do not show we will contact the front office and the parent/guardian to make sure there is a reason for your childs absence. **Please remind your child they have Club Scientific or KidzArt in the morning so they do not forget where to go that day after school. 3. -- Pick up is at 5:00 pm * Pick up will be out front of the school or in the front entry area. * You will need to sign your child out at pick up.
