5th - 9th grade girls: Biology Explorers - Saint Marys School
Biology Explorers is an exciting week of applied science for middle school grade girls. From microorganisms to the biosphere, campers learn about many of the questions, techniques, and equipment scientists use to study the different levels of life. Each morning, campers see demonstrations and perform experiments in the biology labs at Saint Marys School. In the afternoon, campers travel to a variety of local scientific points of interest to watch professional scientists at work. Past field trips have included the Phytotron and Solar House at NCSU, the Sharon Harris Plant, and the Duke Lemur Center. Katie Floyd is an Instructor of Science at Saint Marys School. Ms. Floyd earned her B.A. from Hollins College and her M. S. from Emory University. She taught for ten years at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where, in addition to teaching 14 different courses, she taught the science component of Spectacles, a residential summer camp for middle school girls. Ms. Floyd has been teaching at Saint Marys for sixteen years and has served as the director of Biology Explorers for over ten years. 9194244028.0

Prep for Pre-K - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
For rising SAA-SDS Pre-Kindergarten students only Take the first big step from 2K toddler to Pre-K kid through this week-long adventure! Give your child the opportunity to get acquainted with their new school classrooms a little early, and learn the ins and outs of a Pre-K day. Students will visit all the fun spots (the chapel, the library, the gyms & theatre), read stories, have snacks & HAVE FUN! VIDEO GAME CREATION - Memphis University School
If you think playing computer games is fun, think what a blast learning to program your own games will be. Your imagination is the limit as you use GameMaker software to create your own PC-based video game. Youll learn about creating sprites, objects, events, and actions. Design a room, make it look the way you want, add objects and play your game. We will teach you how to display health, lives, score, and high score tables. Advanced Libero Camp - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
The Advanced Libero Camp is designed for defensive specialists and liberos that have some experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent defender and serve receive passer, and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Skills covered will include: Serve Receive footwork, platform angles, recovery moves, overhead digging and passing, setting the second ball, coverage, and having an all-out competitive attitude! 713-348-4795
