Sunflowers are a joyful symbol of summer. These North American native Asters can light up both a field and face. In this camp we will dive into what makes these instantly recognizable flowers so amazing, and unlock some secrets they may hold in their heads. Through careful observation and sunny inspiration we will complete several sunflower themed projects using mixed media. Awakening is a Catholic retreat put on by young adults for young adults. This overnight retreat runs from Friday night through Sunday afternoon ending with Sunday Mass. The retreat is designed to awaken your faith, bring you fellowship, and to strengthen your relationship with God during your young adult life. Nature Camp 2 - Twin Lakes Church
Explore and learn about Santa Cruz county in a way you never have before! Experience Gods wonderful creation right out our front door through various hikes, visits to State Parks, swimming, and so much more! Join us this year for the return of our nature camp campout and sleepover on the Twin Lakes campus complete with campfire, smores, movies, and an indoor sleepover! This is a fun, active, and educational camp! Some of the days can be moderately strenuous hikes and not suitable for very young children. For this reason, campers must be entering 2nd grade to attend. Please keep in mind the physical exertion of this camp when considering it for your child. Some of the activities for the week include: River walking at Henry Cowell State Park in Felton Tide Pools and beach at Natural Bridges Hike at Point Lobos State Park in Monterey and more! 831-465-3386

Rip City Basketball Camp Sess. I & 2 - NHTI, Concords Community College
Campers wishing to sign up for Sessions I & II can do so with this registration process. Session I: Day session from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Session II: Night session from 4 pm-8 pm (only 4 nights--no Friday night camp Boys and girls in grades 4-11 Every camper will take a short break between the end of the Day Session (3:30) and the start of the night session (4:00 PM) to rehydrate, have some snacks and get refreshed before transitioning to the night session. Campers coming for the whole day should bring snacks/lunch/drinks...bring a ball or purchase a camp ball from our camp store....come ready to play. Session I (days) is different from the night session. Session I offers a traditional style camp with regular teams and games. Through daily exposure to textile media, campers explore new avenues of creativity, improve their dexterity, and make new friends while learning about historical and contemporary use of the fiber arts. In addition to structured class and craft time there is daily free play and outdoor time, weather permitting. Campers aged 11-12 visit TAC daily, for project-based classes inspired by their weekly field trip to a current textile related exhibition in New York. Join our team of fossil hunter enthusiasts, where we will go in our ECOADVENTURES Snake van to Matoaka Beach in St. Leonards. Put your skills to the test (and with a little luck), dig, unearth, and uncover, shark, crocodile, whale, skate and rays, and shells fossils from the Chesapeake Bay! Best part- is you get to keep what you find! Learn and participate in seining activities where we will look at the marine life and catch fish, eels, shrimp, crabs, and more! Have your team participate in a beach scavenger hunt. All this fun will make you hungry for a BBQ lunch with hot dogs, chips, and a drink while you relax in a gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
