REVEAL: Youth Camp - Turner, OR
We invite you all to an amazing opportunity to spend time with your church family this summer. We will be having our annual Youth Camp at Aldersgate Camps & Retreats. ACTIVITIES: -Indoor & outdoor basketball -carpet ball -archery -beach volleyball -full sized soccer field -human foosball -grass volleyball -playground for kids -tree swing -disc golf, tennis -water slide -river floating -ping pong -inter tubing -foosball -fire pit -horse shoe pits COST: 4 days - $132 per person This includes lodging from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. PMBC 2016-2017 TEEN'S JOY RETREAT - Grapeland, TX
This will be the Teens at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church first Retreat. We are excited for what God has in store for this generation.The Theme for the Retreat this year is Joy! ( Jesus First Others Second & Yourself Third ) We are expecting that there will be a lot of spiritual growth, fun, camp retreat activities, food, laughter, music, friends, family, and a whole lot of Jesus!!! OK Rutland remember how much we raised to help support #Jake? Cj's Suds South has partnered up to help a touring father in a fight for his own family and yours. Chad Garrett will be here all day from Ohio entertaining from acoustic, to karaoke, to being our DJ for the evening. Please look up #CONGA FOR KIDS CAMPAIGN on facebook and read his mission statement for a detailed description of his cause. While in this area all proceeds will go to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's Childrens Research Center. This is what fighting for something looks like. $3 cover-

This camp is the perfect introduction to the most popular Brainy Bytes offerings. Students will learn how to make stop-motion animated LEGO® movies, build and program LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 robots and create their own computer games. LIGHT TO DARK: DARKROOM EXPLORATION - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls. Snow White (Theatre in the Park) - True Hope Community Church
A two-week session where campers learn playmaking! Make sets, costumes and props and put on a performance the final day of camp in a local park. In this sessions play, "Snow White," Snow White must escape the clutches of the wicked queen, and finds some help along the way. Discover the wizarding world of Harry Potter from mystical creatures to potions at Explore Hogwarts: Year 1. Campers will read different parts of the Harry Potter books, play quidditch, create wands, and write their own creative articles for the Daily Prophet.
