Students will enjoy exploring music through playing games, singing, dancing, and playing a variety of instruments. A portion of each day will be spent in the piano lab, and students will have the opportunity to learn a song or two on the piano during the week. Piano skills are not required to register as instruction will be tailored to individual ability levels. Students entering grades 1-3 are invited to join Mrs. Mott and Mrs. Croll for an action packed camp full of engaging and fun music activities. Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - REGULAR Session 4 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Red, White & Blue Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Jun 2016 Junior Golf Camp - Eastlake Country Club
Our five day camps are extremely popular and can be summed up in one word: FUN!! They are geared toward introducing children to golf so they can experience how much fun the game is. All aspects of the game are covered including rules and etiquette. Golf cubs are provided for children who do not have a set of clubs. Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to noon and include: instruction, golf shirt, snacks, and a pizza party on the last day! Ages 6-12. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $3.95 non-refundable fee for registering online. SummerART Camp Pottery Morning Program 9:30am to 1:45pm Pottery Camp Session III: July 25 to August 5 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session.
