Shakespeare Summer Camp - Pensacola, FL
It's a mystery of Shakespearean proportions as this year’s campers create a whodunit from the ground up using Shakespearean characters, plots, intrigue, dialogue, and combat. Each camper will get to choose a Shakespearean character to play, agree on a Shakespearean murder victim, and help write and perform an original play using Shakespearean themes. Campers will learn about the plays, acting, and stage combat in this week-long experience that culminates in a live performance! SETSCO will provide everything except underwear, shoes, and lunch. Do you know WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE this Spring Break? At MCT, of course! Join us for a week long camp as each grade level works on a performance piece inspired by Maurice Sendaks Where the Wild Things Are or one of his other works, like Little Bear, Chicken Soup with Rice, or Higglety Pigglety Pop. Extreme Robotics - Middle School
In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs.
