Coats for Kids 2015 Campaign
Join us as we collect NEW Coats for Kids and cover the end zone of Joan C. Edwards Football Stadium! We will be collecting coats all through the months of October and November. Drop your NEW coat off today, at the designated Goodwill locations (Virginia Avenue, 9th Avenue, Lavalette, Milton & Barboursville) or at the Marshall home games on 10/24 and 11/14. Donate a NEW coat for the campaign and be entered in a drawing for: 4 chairback seats to the Marshall vs. FIU game on 11/14 & an on-field experience at the game. Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. For Campers who need support developing fine motor skills. Fun and creative multi-sensory and motor activities that include yoga, crafts, and the program "Handwriting Without Tears." These will improve Campers independence with using writing utensils for pre-writing skills; self help skills such as buttons, zippers and snaps; and eye-hand coordination skills like cutting or catching a ball. Defending Camp - WakeMed Soccer Park-Field #3
Join the RailHawks and learn how to sharpen your defensive skills and maximize your opportunities for success. RailHawks professional defenders will teach fundamental skills of defending including individual body position, tackling, heading, and small-group defending tactics such as pressure, cover, and balance. Dribbling & Passing - St. Teresas (9-11y) - St. Teresas Academy
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 4-14 years old. Players will improve their technical abilities with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, passing and receiving. Dribbling & passing reside at the core of technical progression in order to become a skilled and intelligent player. After completion of the Dribbling & Passing camp, we recommend progressing to the Attacking & Defending camp.
