Travel through space and time as we create Out of this World works of Art! We will blast off with famous artist, Peter Max, and learn about perspective and using watercolors. Inventor and artist Leonardo da Vinci will inspire us to draw futuristic robots. Next, we will create radial moons and suns using printmaking techniques while being inspired by artists utilizing radial symmetry and explore shading and value with planets and stars with chalk! Imagine yourself as an astronaut, floating at zero gravity, when we draw self-portraits. Join us this winter to expand your artistic skills as we journey through space and time! The Dublin Scioto High School Cheerleading Boosters would like to announce the 2016 Lyndsey C. Rice Memorial Cheerleading Kid's Camp! Jr. Paleontologist! - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Campers explore the wondrous world of pre-historic creatures and fossils! Learn what life was like back when dinosaurs, giant reptiles and bugs ruled the earth. Campers will meet a variety of dinosaurs and learn about their habitats and food supply. Sample projects include a Pteranodon model, panning for gems and minerals, building a volcano, casting a seashell model, and a dinosaur egg dig. Shoot to Score Hockey and the Texas Junior Stars will be hosting the Battle Camp giving players a great opportunity to compete with and against some of the top players in their age group. Extra Pointers Football Camp 1 (Grades 6-12) - WWP North Athletic Camp
Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount.
