Our Kids's art camp is back...and during Christmas Break! We provide all the supplies, your child's inspiration and step-by-step instruction of the featured art. At the end of the event, kids will go home with their very own snowman masterpiece. This class woudl make a great kids for any children on your list. Appropriate ages are 6-12. Capoeira Kid's Summer Camp - South Jordan, UT
Capoeira Kids Camp Kids! Join Capoeira Utah this July for fun, fitness, and a fantastic cultural experience at Capoeira Kids Camp. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian martial art that combines kicks and dodges with acrobatics and dance like movements all performed to live music! Camp takes place from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday, July 5 & 7, and July 12 & 14. Each day we'll do special capoeira training in levels for both beginners and experienced students as well as: Portuguese language Singing and Playing Instruments Acrobatics training Crafts (make your own maculele costume and sticks, wooden machete, and/or feathered samba headress) Traditional dances: Samba, maculele, a capoeira choreography and more! Camp is open to kids ages 6-11 with or without previous experience in capoeira. Cost: Full camp is $150 per child ($25 discount for students currently enrolled at Capoeira Utah.), and $90 for half camp, $50 non-refundable deposit due July 1st. Balance due prior to start of camp. Tennis and So Much More - Wheaton Indoor Tennis
Schools out, and its time to play! During the tennis portion of camp, kids with little or no tennis experience will play with the smaller rackets and softer balls of our "10 and Under Tennis" classes which will help them connect with the ball. They will really enjoy themselves while they learn the basic strokes and rules of tennis. Well also do some fun tennis drills and games that will teach moves and skills to use on the court. Older and more experienced players will be placed together to assure they are getting a good challenge with their friends and peers. When were not playing tennis, well take a hike on one of the great trails in Wheaton Regional Park, visit Brookside Nature Center and explore nature, and cool off at the South Germantown Splash Playground on Tuesdays. Itll be great fun, great exercise, and never a dull moment! Sunscreen and hats highly recommended, and a swimsuit for splashing Please bring a non-perishable lunch and water bottle each day!
