This class is NOT TO BE MISSED by any dancer who is interested in improving their skill level. Concentrating on Smooth-Style Lindy (also referred to variously as Hollywood-Style, Dean Collins Style, and So-Cal Lindy), this class will improve your whips and swing-outs, help you develop floor-craft, work on styling, and emphasize lead-and-follow technique. Class will focus on drilling the Lindy Whip and the Push, concentrating on the concepts of weight sharing, counter balance, compression, syncopation, etc. First 30 minutes of class will be spent on working the basics with intense drilling; following 60 minutes will be spent exploring new challenges. This picturesque camp is quietly located between the Chugach Mountains and the Cook Inlet. It has been welcoming campers since 1961. My 10 year old son loves any outdoor activities. This camp is perfect for him. The non-judgmental philosophy of the camp makes it a place where children and teens can grow.
