Join Smart with Art as we discover sea-life creatures and explore the ocean with clay! We will create a bookend influenced by Edward Hoppers art, including a relief lighthouse design. We will work with glass pieces and clay, as we create a slab box based on Hokusais The Great Wave painting. We will learn about creating coils in clay as we design a tile with a sea creature of our choice. Exploring pinch pots techniques, students will design a bigmouth fish creation. We will also dive into a multi-medium work of art that combines an acrylic painting and a clay under the sea work of art. Join us as we explore the sea and set sail in clay with Smart with Art. This Christian camp has helped to instill a love of Christ for my 12 year old daughter. Along with the Christian focus, she also enjoyed traditional camping activities. MS Advanced LEGO Mindstorms Week 5 - Merrill Engineering Building
This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 6th-9th grade. Campers must have taken the Middle School Graphics and Robotics camp, or the FLL camp, or have significant experience with FLL competitions prior to attending this camp. 801-585-1726
Dynamite (Junior Level 2) - Power House Athletics
Dynamite (USASF Levels 2) is one of our beginner teams. Developed as a junior novice/intermediate team, these athletes are 14 years and younger. Skills required include but are not limited to standing back handsprings, working multiples and round off backhandsprings. The Junior 2 team will have (2) 2.5 hour practices and a tumbling class is highly recommended. 708-351-2361

This class is for those sailors who want to go blasting around with other know how to sailors in these fun and fast boats. The Open Bic is a fast easy to rig boat that looks and feels completely different than the Opti. Sweet Briar Drill and Play Weekend Clinic - Sweet Briar College
These tennis clinics are offered for competitive players above a 3.5 level and feature a tactical approach to building a players game. Both singles and doubles play patterns are developed through a progressive use of tactical dead ball, live ball and competitive decision making drills. If you are comfortable with your shot making, this is the tennis program for you. 800-845-6138
Experiments in Sculpture with Jennifer Van Elswyck (Ages 7-11) - Young People
