Former Cleveland Indian, Arizona Diamondbacks Matt Langwell will be conducting a youth age (6 to13) camp working on the fundamentals of pitching on Saturday Nov 19th 9am to 11am. Players will learn proper mechanics , and strategies to being a successful youth league players. cost per player $50 per player On Sunday November 20th Matt will conduct an advanced level clinic for High School age pitchers detailing to them regarding what it takes to pitch at the next level. JANUARY -Bobcats Academy (morning skills session for homeschooled/online school hockey players of any team) - Arcadia Ice Arena
Skills and Skating sessions at Arcadia Mon, Tues and Thurs 7:20AM-8:50AM for ALL youth hockey players who are homeschooled or online schooled regardless of school or hockey organization (example: if you are a peewee A player at Mission, homeschooled by your parents via chandler online prep you can still attend Bobcats Academy for morning skills sessions). Sessions must be paid monthly. Disclaimer***due to the increased cost of ice we can no longer offer free weds night sessions as part of the Academy package***. Summer camp at Historic Oak View returns offering a full day camp for the first time! Join us for this years farm camp to catch a glimpse in the life of a farmer and much more. Each day will explore a different theme of farm life. The campers will learn through games and hands-on activities about the farms animals (including our goats!), the history of the farm, the families who called Oak View home, the crops grown here, and finally, what the kids did for fun on the farm. Farm Fun - Farm Store
Farm Fun camp is a unique opportunity for campers to work with the livestock, gardens, and natural areas at Greenacres while exploring the science happening on the farm. The camp will also include plenty of games, exploration, and farm fresh treats. Past camp activities have included assisting with weighing cattle, testing soil, planting cover crops, making pickles, spending time with the sheep, and Brix testing vegetables. This camp is best suited to campers with an interest in exploring the science behind farming and gardening, who get excited about real farm work! Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes or boots.
