My daughter and son thrived at this camp. They are both active children who would rather be outdoors than inside. They are also very social, which is why they loved the fact this camp draws campers from all over the world. 10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. Join us for six days full of dancing, music, crafts, swimming, games, storytelling, and too much fun…at Foothill Horizons Outdoor School near Sonora, CA. For those who haven’t been before, Family Week often takes some explaining. It’s not a “kids’ camp” or a “sleepaway camp”: it’s for the entire family. We share traditional camp accommodations: several families per bunkhouse, and everyone eats community style. During the morning, kids take classes in community dance, English team dance, and art, while parents are free to come dance, play music, sing, or simply relax. After lunch, families come back together, for swimming, jamming, playing games, and a series of great classes for all. During the week of camp, a community like no other grows, culminating in a demo day when everyone shows each other what we’ve been doing. Every evening, we come together to dance. While the family is the basic unit at camp, it’s pretty loosely defined: traditional parents and kids, aunts and uncles with nieces and nephews, or grandparents with their grandchildren. Whether youve just started learning an instrument or have been playing for years, playing steel pan is fun for everyone! We invite all instrumentalists to come learn to play pan - from percussionists to tuba players, violinists to bassoonists! If youre looking for a new, fun way to play music, youll love learning about this Caribbean instrument from Trinidad and Tobago. Youll have a chance to try out all of the instruments - from the high lead pan all the way down to the deep, low tones of the bass pans. Youll work with your instructor to learn basics of playing steel pan and play in several ensembles with everyone at the camp. Summer Junior Golf Camps - The Landings at Spirit Golf Course
The Landings at Spirit Golf Club has offered junior golf instruction for the past 16 years and PGA Director of Instruction Don Gorin has been instructing juniors for over 22 years. The facility will continue to provide trained and experienced instructors to help promote a lifetime sport. Our camps consist of range instruction on the full swing, short game, and on-course playing, while learning course etiquette and the rules of the game. Each camp session will have a maximum of 8 students per class and a minimum of 4. This will ensure plenty of individual instruction. We want each of our campers to experience a fun and enjoyable time while learning the proper way to play the game of golf. 314-954-7407

In visual arts, they will explore sets, costumes, and prop elements this engaging tale of growing up and friendship! Camp will end in an informal presentation to showcase the fun had camp!
