Our Space would like to invite you to our FIRST EVER Fierce Love Day Camp - a summer program for youth ages 12-17 who identify as LGBTQ or as allies! Camp will include two workshops on topics including identity, self-love, and SOGIE (sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression), field trips to local parks and a beach, craft making, movies, karaoke, and more. SURGE YOUTH CAMP - Mount Vernon, GA
Grades 7th-12th This camp is an overnight camp at Brewton Parker College. Campers will be in small groups with friends and participate in mission projects and team building activities together throughout the week. Young Builder (FULL DAY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our FULL DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k camps have pre and post camp options available as well! Wild About Water Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
Its a week of water-filled fun! Plan to get wet (and muddy) as we explore our bit of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Well compare fresh and saltwater habitats through hands-on experiences like sampling for water-dwelling animals and performing simple water tests. Field trips will take us to see where our water comes from, how water is treated after we use it, and on a visit to the Chesapeake Bay. Well also spend time boating and fishing as we learn all about water, the plants and animals that live there, and how to better care for our watershed. Take Level 1 in one week! Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday In this class you are introduced to all the fundamental skills of improvising, while improving your ability to listen and explore the power of building off of other peoples ideas. Level 1 is a survey of the entire program, exposing you to the elements of scene work and the various skills involved in creating well-acted, comedic improvisation. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate that their listening has improved over the course of the term and that they are willing to build off of their partners ideas, in addition to having gained some proficiency with the technical aspects of actually doing so on stage.
