Parents can go out for some free time knowing their children are being inspired on a Friday night! Each Friday we will be offering a 3 hour drop off class, with a break for some pizza and a game. Students will be guided through a 1 day art project with room for creativity and exploration. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 2) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

We have schedule a second computer coding camp for July 18 @ 1:00 for grades 6-12. Part 2 is a two-hour camp that introduces teens to robotics engineering with a line patterning RedBot. Teens will add to coding skills learned in Part 1 to instruct RedBot to follow simple to complex line patterns. Please sign up for Summer Camp this Sunday in the Faith Bible Church Foyer or by calling the church office at (330) 497-7087! There is a $50 deposit, but if you are not able to, please just get your name on the list, or the price goes up by $50!

CentriKid is a high energy, intentional, gospel-centered overnight camp for 3rd-6th graders. Their mission is to help kids experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ. This takes place through track times, rec, worship, Bible study, church group time, and other fun events. CentriKid Camps are committed to providing content that is rooted in Scripture, a safe location, kid-friendly programming, and staffers who are deeply invested in your kids. July 31-Aug 4. Students will then put their bridges to the ultimate test by seeing how much weight can be supported by the bridges they designed. While producing a group film, each student will experience several aspects of the creative process. Topics covered include storyboarding, camera techniques, sound and music, and scriptwriting.
