22nd Annual Teen World Bible Camp - Clinton, PA
Teen World Ministries will be holding its 22nd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 7-13, 2015 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. We are excited that the long awaited new dining hall at Promise Camp has completed construction and will be ready for our use. Our camp theme for the week is "The Whole Armor of God" with Ephesians 6:11 & 6:13 being our theme verses. Camp Speaker for the week will be Toby Mattern, 2015 Graduate of Malone University in Youth Ministry. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Ephesians (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 5 & 6 during the week. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 5-12 in the 2015-2016 school year and 2015 high school graduates. Registration Fee for camp is $155 .There is a $10 per camper Family Discount for siblings attending camp as campers. Advocacy Training for Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign - Philadelp
The Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign and The Bridgeway School would like to formally announce that legislation is officially being sponsored in both the House of Representative (Rep. John Taylor –[R] Philadelphia) and the Senate (Sen. Pat Browne -[R] Pennsylvania) to promote recovery high schools in Pennsylvania. When enacted, this bill will create an alternate class of school designated Recovery High School. These schools will be suited to address the educational and recovery support needs of high school age/eligible youth dealing with substance use disorders in Pennsylvania. These schools will ensure that students receive the tools necessary to retain long term recovery, achieve academic greatness, and promote family inclusion, support, and overall wellness through education and recovery. We need your help to raise awareness for, and champion this cause on behalf of all Pennsylvania Youth. Please also join us for an Advocacy Training event on February 25th and 7pm at The Bridgeway School. Through this training we will equip all supporters and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to advocate in support of this vital legislation. April Vacation: Artists Studio - Barn Art Classroom
The Artists Studio is geared toward those students who are serious about visual arts. Their day will include studio time with a professional artist learning to work with acrylic, ceramics, watercolor, pastels and pencil drawing. Please bring a snack and water bottle each day. Advanced Development Camp: Session 3 - Cabin John Regional Park
Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season. High School & Junior College Skills & Drills Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Check In & Late Registration: 8:00-9:00 AM at Roadrunner Field. Camp Hours will be from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will provide lunch around 12:30 PM. Purpose: Provide a camp experience much like a UTSA Baseball practice day. From the stretching routine, to a training session with baseball specific training techniques, to lessons on play catch routine, long toss, infield / outfield play, pitching / catching drill work, bunting and baserunning lectures and drills.
