Summer Camps in Camden County, NJ
The 420 Intermediate class is designed for sailors who have mastered the basics and want to enhance their sailing skills in a double-handed boat. Successful completion of two sessions of the 420 Beginner class, Opti Advanced, Opti Race Team, or a sailor who can demonstrate similar skills is required. There will be both chalkboard (pre and post sailing) and on-the-water instruction with a focus on fun while learning. Students will learn boat handling, sail trim and introductory spinnaker skills. This class has a hands on learn-to-sail focus. When complete, sailors will be able set, fly, and douse a spinnaker, demonstrate skipper/crew communication and teamwork, sail a 420 upwind, downwind, and do so with independence and confidence. This class is best for 12 – 18 year olds who are seeking to become proficient at two-person performance dinghy sailing. This is a great step towards either racing, or a recreational oriented mastery of sailing. 978-526-8345

Could you recommend a program for 2 children with special needs?
There are low cost or free day camp programs offered for children with special needs. Programs that are best suited for children have to provide very rigid structure, well-trained staff, and individualized attention. Some special needs programs are incorporated into a regular camp program, the “inclusion” programs. They offer a one-on-one staff attention for children with special needs, but provide an opportunity for your children to enjoy a regular camp program with other children. Depending on the needs of your children, they may require a program, that is designed specifically for children with special needs and is a separate camp....

YHBC Chapel Dedication - Beattyville, KY
You are invited to the dedication of the new chapel at Youth Haven Bible Camp at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21! A reception with refreshments will follow the dedication service. As most of you know, the chapel honors the memory of Julia Brandenburg, daughter of KMM missionaries, Scott and Amy Brandenburg. Chapel services were Julia’s favorite activity at Youth Haven and while she was able to enjoy only one summer as a camper before her passing in 2012, countless children will continue to hear the gospel message in the new chapel in the years to come. Although there may be work yet to be done, the building will be dedicated for God’s use and glory on May 21. If you plan to attend, please contact us by May 9, as this will help in our preparation for the event. If you have prayed, sent a gift for the project, donated materials and/or worked on the new chapel, we would love to have you join us! Please come celebrate and give praise with us!
