It is strange seeing Mitch still at it.If he's a Pennsylvania summertime person,it's partly cause he is sent couselors from far away.Would he remember the year 1992,I'll bet he would with miss Stephanie!It's possible the running rabbis lost their rep when mitch had his squad get them in a night game and come back with new aspirations.On campers,I didn't keep up with people on the grounds even Haden and Tracie who were from my state and we'll leave that to retired people like Bobby Miller.20+years... LSBT Youth Camp 2017 invites all 6th-12th graders a chance to get away from everything and focus on their relationship with God! Every day they will be served 3 Awesome meals and just as many Spiritual meals!! Every afternoon will be filled with activities, such as, low and high obstacle courses, kick ball, volleyball, horseshoes, inflatable jousting matches, and glow in the dark dodgeball!! ALL of this in a peaceful camp setting with Spectacular views of Pikes Peak! Cost is $425 includes lodging for 6 nights, 20 meals, camp t-shirt, and all activities!!! Children receive instruction in one of the following: fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, ukulele, vocals or hand drums. Included are music lessons, a tee shirt decorating arts and craft session, a barbecue chicken dinner, a guest musical concert and a Sunday afternoon concert showcasing the children’s new/renewed accomplishments. Instructors are experienced musicians who give their time and positive energy to ensure that this event continues to enrich the lives of our young people. We need to know who is interested ASAP so we can plan fundraising, travel, etc... The 2016 Teen Prayer Conference will be held at Camp Yorktown Bay in Mountain Pine Arkansas and is sponsored by the Arkansas-Louisiana Prayer Ministries Department. Teen Prayer Conference is for any students in grades 7-12. Montgomery Alabama Stake Service Day at Camp Hulaco - Baileyton, AL
This is a "family friendly" service opportunity; however, much of the work is not suitable for young children. Scout troops and YM/YW are strongly encouraged to attend. Intro to Lego Robotics - Glenmont Elementary
Introducing the brand new Lego WeDo 2.0. Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer or tablet, and configure behaviors using simple programming. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. This robotics class covers topics within science, technology, mathematics and engineering. Science was never this much fun! Grades 4 & 5 meet on Wednesdays. Grades 1-3 meet on Thursdays. Students in grade 3 participating in both programs will meet on Wednesdays for Lego Robotics.
