Young Jedi will explore worlds far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Defeat the Empire by designing and refining Lego X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements on far-flung edges of the galaxy. Imagination and engineering combine to create motorized and architectural projects such as energy catapults, shield generators, and defense turrets. Please bring a snack and water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. Horrible Place!
I sent I child here last summer and she had a horrible summer! She told me horrible things! When I called the place the complain, the phone was not even working. They have the worst customer service ever. My daughter said they were also hungry and was never fed enough. She was bullied at the camp and said no adult did anything about it. Stretch their skills through engaging activities, an extensive use of SMART technology, and game websites that focus on numbers. Bay Bounders (Week 6 AM) - Flight Phenomena - NESS
Birds, bees, butterflies, and even some plant seeds are professional flyers. Explore the science behind flight by looking at animal wings and feathers under microscopes, going on a bird hunt, testing seed floating abilities, and engineering your own parachutes, kites, and wind tube flying contraptions. See how a sail can act as a giant wing as you get a taste of sailing on a Sonar! Look to water to see what animals fly underwater and go boogie boarding to fly on waves.
