Businesses and non-profits that offer summer camps & classes in sports, dance, art, cooking, fitness & academics will be present. Session II Individual Skills Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Beach Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Beach Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water.
