We will learn about mammals, insects, reptiles and amphibians as we hike, do crafts, and play games. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Critter Capers is a three-day half-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 6-8. All participants should wear play clothes, closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or day hikers) and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each camp session. This camp offers a world of creative play and fantastical journeys as campers use their imaginations to discover new characters, locations, and even write their own dialogue. Through the fun of this camp, we teach teamwork, communication skills, and self-confidence. During this session, performers have the opportunity to write a script, compose original music, design and build scenery, and create their own costume pieces. This will offer an inspiring and fun summer activity for your child! For students ages 9-11 who are interested in more of a performance challenge, we offer our 6-week Performance Class. Participants in this class will be involved in a full-scale production, from auditions to set building to opening day.
