Outside Exploits March 18 – April 29, 2015 (No Class 4/1 or 4/22) Climbing rocks, building sand castles, and erecting stick structures are some of kids favorite activities to do outside. This session of Science Explorers takes advantage of its location to experience the rich science behind kids play. We will certainly take advantage of the weather events to stomp in puddles (if it rains), draw shadows, and make kites. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Held on Lake Quinsigamond, this program offers instruction for high school athletes of all levels—from advanced skill development targeted toward competitive rowing to introduction of the basics. Whether you are already a competitive rower or a novice hoping to take your first strokes, you will receive first-class instruction appropriate to your individual development within a positive and enjoyable environment. Giant City, Pomona Natural Bridge and Cave-in-Rock are just some of the places we will visit during this week. We will also sneak in a trip to the Chocolate Factory and Dixon Springs State Park. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
