[] Grades 7 - 13 Full Day Combo (Ages 7-13) Children must bring morning and afternoon snack, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, goggles and wear tennis shoes. Campers bring snacks, lunch and beverage. Lunchtime supervision provided. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Science Crafters - Old Trail School
Have you ever wondered how to make Flubber or how to make invisible ink? If so, this is the camp for you. The week will include fun and wacky crafts that make us smile. This includes making quick sand, a volcano, glow water and more. Many of the crafts will be things that can be taken home and played with. In our Individual Camp, campers will be taught the fundamentals of basketball through games, competitions, and drills. We have assembled a camp staff of the finest coaches from around the country to provide the best basketball learning experience possible. League play will take place daily, giving campers the opportunity to apply what they learn in clinics and lectures while improving their overall skill and basketball knowledge. Arcade Game Design (AM) - The Digital Arts Experience
Come for 1 or 2 weeks! All students will receive their own DAE 8GB flash drive to store their work on and take home! Code your own arcade game and design your own controller that works with it! The first half of this class will involve students coding their own old school arcade style game from scratch. Think something like Spade Invaders, Galaga, Pong and more! Then, well have the students work with Arduino boards and use physical programming to wire their own controller to work with the game. Finally, students will design their very own case for their controller that we will print out using our 3D Printers! Come both physical and digital programming for this interactive class where students will be able to show off their games and controllers to friends and family! **Please note**: We have Arduino UNOs & breadboards for the students to use as their controllers for the duration of the class but they will need to be returned at the end. The USF June Residential Training Camp Program for field players offered at the University of South Florida is designed to improve players both on and off the field. The program for ages 9-12 will run separately from the program for ages 13-18. Day training sessions are designed for speed and agility and improving players technique, tactical awareness on both offense and defense. The evenings consist of matches and tournament play.
