What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. When is Youth Councils 2016? Youth Councils 2016 is being held from April 8-10, at Wonderland Camp & Conference Center. How much does Youth Councils cost? Only $25. Only $25?! Returning Counselor Application - Center at Cathedral Ridge
The Counselors presence at camp is an integral part of the summer camp experience for everyone. Ideally, we are looking for dynamic individuals who share a passion for camp, a love of working and who are seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus. It is important to keep in mind that this job in its simplest form is servant leadership. It is tiring, sometimes trying, and our focus as staff should not be on ourselves but on our campers. As staff of Cathedral Ridge summer camps, we are also representatives of the Episcopal Church in Colorado, and are working in a ministry that many people believe to be incredibly important in our Diocese. While the job of a camp counselor is not for the weary, it can be a very rewarding and enlightening experience. A great way to introduce your youngsters to the world of sports, teamwork, and athletics! This camp will help to build your childs motor control, hand-eye coordination, agility, and many other sports related skills. Your child will have a blast playing games with the other children including: Baseball, basketball, soccer, flag football, capture the flag, relay & obstacle races, and a whole lot more.This camp will feature different games so that by the end of the week your child will be familiar with a variety of athletic activities! Farm to Table campers will work in teams throughout the week to create a variety of dishes. Their focus will be on delicious and healthy snacks, meals, and treats that highlight the produce grown at Greenacres. Campers will learn about new ingredients and review techniques relevant to the recipes they make each day, but will also have plenty of opportunities to express their creativity and customize their creations. Outside the kitchen, they will harvest some of their ingredients, explore the gardens and fields, and interact with the producers. Campers will take home an apron as well as a binder of recipes and information at the end of the week. Please note any dietary restrictions when registering. Campers should wear close toed and long hair should be pulled back. 513-891-4227

Explore the written word through creativity and imagination! Campers will strengthen their language arts skills and public speaking through vintage radio shows, one act plays, and student made original compositions!
