This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of basketball in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added, and games will focus on team play and tactical understanding. Students should wear a t-shirt, shorts and athletic shoes, and they should bring a water bottle and a snack. 6127287745 x2

Dont try this at home: the sequel! If you missed it last year, dont make the same mistake twice! This fun, mess-filled camp is making a comeback with more ooey-gooey, messy fun! Join in as we suds things up with wet-felting, get down and dirty in clay or turn up the psychedelic vibes with some tie-dye! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. If youre child may need additional assistance beyond what a teaching artist could provide, please let us know. Parents are always invited to stay in the classroom. 757-596-8175

Lets Play Spanish (Grades PreK-5th) - Ethical Culture
Hola! Join us this summer at Lets Play in Spanish, where students will learn and practice their vocabulary and conversational skills in a fun environment. The focus will be on learning Spanish through music, art, food, and field trips. Classes will be held indoors and outdoors. Field trips vary each week. Attendance for both weeks is preferable but not required. "Ambiguitos En Espanol" - a perfect option for our younger campers. "Ambiguitos En Espanol" will introduce the earliest learners to the Spanish language through games, music, dramatic play and art. Through language immersion as well as bilingual curriculum, camper will practice conversational Spanish and increase their Spanish vocabulary. Lego Simple Machines - Morgan Park Academy
In this hands-on class, campers will use the LEGO system to create simple machines. They will learn about levers, pulleys, axels, wheels, and gears through activates designed to challenge the young engineer. High School Advanced - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The High School Advanced Camp is designed to create a highly competitive environment with the majority of our campers planning on pursuing a college baseball career. Mornings typically concentrate on drills and position work, while the afternoon and evening sessions feature actual games. Check-in will be held Sunday morning with evaluation sessions that morning and afternoon and a skills session that evening. Monday will feature morning skill instruction and games in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will feature games followed by a late afternoon check-out. The High School Camp has featured representatives from the following schools in past years: Georgetown, Richmond, Lafayette, Brown, Columbia, Bucknell, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, University of New Haven, Dickinson, Bates, and Cornell. **The names of coaches in attendance will be given after check-in on Sunday.
