Intro to body checking is a 6-week camp focused on: All Key Elements of Power Skating Intro to Body Checking Safe and Strong Body Positioning Puck Possession Its vital that young hockey players are fully prepared when entering the age levels where body checking and increased body contact are legal. Size and strength play a limited role if players are properly trained on body position, angles, correct posture, etc. Power skating will be the focus of the first 30 minutes -- then the players will be split by level. Your child will either learn a cheerleading or dance routine, a skit, or a combination of the three amongst other cool activities. Registration is $20 and tuition is $80 for the week. Camp fees include uniformed class attire, snacks, and a special gift to take home at the close of camp. Youth Camp - Leakey, TX
We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. The fundraiser can be used to offset costs for either Alto Frio or Camp Blessing.
