This camp was created especially for paddlers who have completed our River Adventures Kayak Camp, or have strong river-running skills. Join us for five full days of exploring new waterways and wildlife-watching from a kayak! Well supply all the equipment you need (kayaks, PFDs, and paddles), just bring your lunch and your sense of adventure. On Friday, why not invite your parents to come along for the day? Itll give you a chance to show off and leave them in your wake. Campers must be able to swim and tread water for one minute. Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. League play will begin at approximately 2:00PM and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home. More information about game times will be posted in the arena on the first day of camp after the teams have been selected.
