Inviting all young talents (6-18yr) to attend an afternoon of learning and fun! This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate dancers. Our focus will be: "Mambo" and "Samba" -Learn Balance -Timing -Transitions -Movement -Partnering -Teamwork The camp will be broken into section classes. Youth will be taught a fun choreography during the camp, having the option to perform at a later date. Week 5 Western Horse Camp - Rose Lake Youth Camp
This new specialty camp offers horse safety, grooming, saddling and western style riding. Campers will learn basic riding instruction, how to take care of their horse and will learn riding skills in the arena along with wooded trail rides. This camp is held in partnership with Center Lake Bible Camp. Ages 10-13, limited to 8 campers. 231 768 4351
F-4 Developing Parametric Equations Using Mathematical Modeling - Aurora
Designing project to develop student understanding of parametric equations and two modeling situations in which they are applied. No previous knowledge of parametrics is required by the students. The project requires two days of class time, with the remaining work done outside of class. This project is intended to be given three days into a unit on vectors. (630)9075950
Period 4 - Keeping a Writers Notebook - NBJH Room 329
Each student will be given a Writers Notebook. This is a safe place for students to keep ideas and thoughts like real authors do. We will explore different genres and mentor text. The students will explore ideas, develop volume, revise, edit and publish final pieces of their writing. This will be accomplished through a Writers Workshop format. MTWTH: 6/13-6/30/2016 and MWF: 7/6-7/22/16. Camp for Returning Varsity and JV players. The first three weeks will be on the field: technical training, small sided games, going to Goal, as well as finishing and fitness. The last three weeks will be spent in the weight room.
