SJCP Summer Camp 2016 - Mitchell, IN
Our annual summer camp for youth going into 4th grade through College Freshman in the Fall. 2017 Teen Weekend - De Leon Springs, FL
Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

Camp Out for Kids 2016 Fundraiser - Chicago, IL
Get yo’ camp on and help us send kids to camp! The 2016 fundraising event welcomes over 500 guests for an evening of cocktails and small bites to ensure underserved kids have access to summer camp. This camp is based off the popular I Survived… series! Step into the disasters and adventures in these books and decide what you would do! Students will learn how to survive in different climates and regions around the world and natural disasters. Travel on an exciting survival-themed overnight, more details TBA! In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing.
