Actually, our daughter is the one who reminded us of that and it was just one of the wonderful lessons she brought home from her time at Park River. Aside from the bible study which she was really engaged with, her favorite thing was the cast iron cooking lessons. Take a deep dive into becoming a screenprint expert using the professional equipment that Kalas studio has to offer. We will start with the basics of cutting stencils for DIY printing and then move into more complex methods including multi-layered, repeat pattern, and photography-based images. Print on paper, fabric, shirts, and other clothing. Whether you are interested in drawing, hand-lettering, digital media, photography or graphic design, this is the class for you! Instructor Bio: Claire Kessler-Bradner is a second-generation San Francisco printmaker. Growing up in the culture of the print shop, she developed a love of process and problem-solving, materials, equipment and tools, and the collaborative camaraderie of making together. Her work in printmaking, painting, drawing, book arts, and sculpture addresses the narrative intersection of place and memory. After earning her MFA at California College of the Arts, Claire returned to teaching fine art at the middle and high school level.
