This exciting camp opportunity is for boys and girls entering the 3rd through 8th grade. With four days of fun and learning, using a variety of drills, skills, contests, and games, your athlete will have a chance to be active and leave with the necessary tools to develop their game for their future. Postive social interaction with others their age and with their basket coach will help them in more ways than just basketball skills. Camp is Monday - Thursday, August 22-25, from 10am-3pm and cost is $50. Early drop off and pick up is available for an additional $2 per hour. Maximum registration of $100 per family. (Compare to your child care costs, Example: 1 camper at $50/20 hours of instruction time = $2.50 hour.) Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Hammers and Strings Camp with Betty Brinn Childrens Museum August 8-12, 9am-4pm Grades 3-5 Drop-off: McIntosh|Goodrich Mansion Pick-up: Betty Brinn Children?s Museum Perform experiments, be an inventor and discover what makes music "work" in this new camp, designed in collaboration between Conservatory faculty and the creative team of the Be A Maker Space at Betty Brinn Childrens Museum. Youll learn basic music skills, then delve even further to reveal the science behind the music. Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season.
