GAS Camp is for all of the kids who just cant get enough of games, sports and science. We will be playing games such as ultimate Frisbee, Handball, Splashball (similar to water polo), along with old favorites like soccer, basketball and volleyball. When our bodies need a rest we will use our minds to create simple machines and science experiments! Designed for campers who have completed grades 5-8. GAS Camp will run concurrently with MADD Camp. Campers will have meals together and occasionally overlap activities like worship and waterfront time, but most of their programming will be separate. 810-844-1499

Week 6: Northwoods Adventure - Camp Tanadoona
An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Adventurers spend the night at Camp Bluewaters lodge then embark in the morning on a 4-day canoe and camping trip through a chain of lakes. 612-235-7284

BOSS CAMP: The Sky is Falling - This 2 week, full day camp will be an amazing opportunity for your performer to participate in a full childrens theater production from start to finish. We will have a limited number of spots available. The first day of camp will be your audition and parts will be assigned at the beginning of the 2nd day of camp. The Sky is Falling is the story of a very scared chicken, named Chicken Little. Follow his adventure as he meets many of our favorite fairytale creatures including Jack & Jill, the 3 blind mice, old McDonald and much more! Students create original works of art, working with sound, video, and/or media installation. Instruction covers techniques for shooting video, studio lighting, recording sound, 2-d animation, green screen compositing, and the basics of video and sound editing. Students utilize the computer labs, hardware and sound studio facilities of the Mason Gross School of the Arts media area. The intensive will culminate in a public showcase of student artwork produced in class.
