LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Game On! (5-8) - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Inspired by Pfacs upcoming exhibit, Game On! Learn about art in sports throughout the ages! We will begin by making clay vases like ancient Greek Olympic urns, then we will dive into archery painting, and finish by designing and creating our very own gold medals! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. If youre child may need additional assistance beyond what a teaching artist could provide, please let us know. Parents are always invited to stay in the classroom. 757-596-8175

D&D Summer Band Camp - Tucson, AZ
It's time again for the D&D Summer Camp! This year we have a half day and a full day option. Each student will learn some basics of drum set, guitar, bass guitar, piano, vocals and more/ or further the skills they already have. Campers will get to form small groups and learn songs and perform them on video and on our Rock Star stage in a student battle of the bands. We will have a guest band performance, plus lunch and snacks are provided each day with a pizza party on the final day. The full day starts off with the same great experiences in the morning, but in the afternoon students will get an in-depth look at the ins and outs of a recording studio. Girls Lacrosse Camp, Grades 4-7, Licensed - Longmeadow High School
Days will consist of drills to refine basic skills and scrimmage play. Group will cool off daily at Reynolds Pool during the last hour of the camp. Summer Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farms streams, forests and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, well make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore monarch butterflies and their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S. Ecology, owner of Deep Roots Community Farm and Jeni Blake, artist and owner of Inspired. 9:1 staff to child ratio. Children will be asked to bring their own healthy snacks and lunch. 608-790-0255

SD Skatelife Summer Camp - Encinitas Community Park
Join us at the Encinitas Skate Plaza for a week of skateboarding fun! Learn how to skate in a safe and controlled environment with expert instructors from SD Skatelife. This camp is designed to teach skateboards of any level. Come learn skateboarding fundamentals, meet guest professional skateboarders and make new friends. All participants must wear helmets, elbow and knee pads.
