A dynamic week of physical and spiritual fun for teen boys and girls ages 13 to 16. Campers are challenged to work together as teams in a week of diverse competitions, as well as outdoor rappelling, rock climbing and ropes courses. Chapel messages challenge teens to identify their beliefs and share their faith with their peers.

Parkers new summer Writing Workshops for students entering grades 10-12 offers students the opportunity to learn, explore, review and practice a variety of writing skills, including grammar, usage and sentence structures. These intensive, one-week workshops will help students fill gaps, develop comfort, and prepare for future classroom writing experiences. These workshops will be taught by members of the Francis Parker English Department Faculty. In the workshop for rising 11th and 12th graders, students will work in a variety of genres including persuasive, analytical, narrative and creative, with a special concentration on grammar/usage and the personal essay. Elgin Academys Musical Theater Camp combines all the components of a professional performance in a fun camp atmosphere! Camp will begin with auditions to help determine the campers current developmental and comfort levels in performance. All participants will be assigned a role to perform for a final presentation. Additionally, students will work together with staff to help create sets, costume pieces and props. Participants and their families are asked to make a commitment to regular attendance, as absences significantly impact the groups preparation.
