Rex Arts - Acting UP Camp (Grades 3-5) - Community Middle School
Acting Camp/Acting UP ( Grades 3 - 5)Plainsboro is thrilled to offer this popular camp for the eighth year! Through theater games, acting exercises, monologues, improvisation, scene work, and theatrical movie time, students will expand their theater knowledge, build confidence, express themselves, and learn to work well with an ensemble. A presentation of the students hard work will be performed for astonished family and friends on the final day of each camp. Open Studio for Kid n Me - Hopkinton Center for the Arts
Open Studio for Kid n Me (ages 1+) offers parents and caregivers a great opportunity to get creative with your child and leave the mess for us! The HCA will provide a stimulating playground where you and your children can drop in at any time and play with paint and tactile materials to your hearts content. All supplies will be provided. We offer a weekly drop-in option for the most flexibility, but you may also register for a 3 week session to save! DROP IN: $25 for caregiver + child; $15 for additional siblings or second caregiver. Canvas Painting (ages 5-7) M-F 1-4pm - Meadowlark Community Church
Canvas Painting (AGES 5-7 for the PM) Explore the colorful world of paint with teaching artist Deron Cohen (www.deroncohen.com). We will be making at least two paintings over these 5 days. Through step-by-step instruction and demonstration, students will learn how to break down an image into its most basic shapes and transfer those shapes onto the canvas. We will also explore the Imagination as students are guided through a creative process that encourages experimentation while also re-enforcing all of the previous techniques and skills developed. Time permitting, students will be encouraged to make another painting incorporating all the techniques learned throughout the week.
