2nd Annual Youth Campout - Middle Fork Wildlife Mgmt Area
Bring your kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. WFBCHU 2nd annual youth camp. Friday, September 18: Check in 5 pm. Ride at 6 pm. Hobo dinner assembly upon return from ride. Leave No Trace demonstration during dinner. Guitar music and sing along. Hobo dinners and smores provided by Chapter. Saturday, September 19: Creakfast cooked and provided by Chapter. Service project if applicable. AM ride. Lunch on your own. 2 pm Ponies on Parade. Decorate your horse with animal friendly paint, glitter, ribbons, feathers, etc. We will lead decorated ponies through campground. PM ride if desired. First aid demo. Dinner hot dogs, chips, pork n beans provided by Chapter. Scavenger hunt 7 pm. Campfire smores and music. Sunday, September 20: Breakfast provided by Chapter. Ride. Good byes. Looking for something to do over spring break? Camp Mer-IDA-Moo: Spring Break is back in 2016! Activities will include arts and crafts, games, outdoor games, reading time, science projects and field trips. Staff is selected from recreation and education professionals, as well as local college students. Staff to camper ratio is 1:10. Crazy About Clay, 2nd Session - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 8 to 12 Description: All Clay, all the time! In this class, students will learn the art of ceramics by building, sculpting, and creating on the pottery wheel. We will experiment with various tools and glazes as students express themselves through creativity and color in this fun and functional 3D art form. Spring Break Clay Camp: Terrific Textures - Ann Arbor Art Center
Throwing on the Wheel & Terrific Textures Take your clay projects to the next level! Give your thrown work and clay sculptures a little extra pizzazz with a variety of interesting and exciting textures. This week we will: * Make our own unique animals using texture mats and hard slab construction techniques * Embellish a tile with a variety of stamps and textures to create an interesting landscape * Create a playful sculpture that highlights or exaggerates a texture of your choice. Extra Pointers Football Camp 1 (Grades 6-12) - WWP North Athletic Camp
Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount.
