Sierra Hills hopes to use the game of golf to promote the basic educational values of honesty, integrity and respect for each other and the game of golf by building the character of each participating youth through the sport of Golf. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dates: Wednesday mornings June Times: Times per Age are subject to change 5 - 7 years old: 8 am 8 - 10 years old: 9 am 11 - 14 years old: 10 am Fee: $75 (Price includes a T-Shirt and the opportunity to play the course on Jr Golf Days. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in an end of the season tournament and party details coming) Location: Sierra Hills Golf Club, 13420 E. Both of my daughters, ages 10 and 12, have made wonderful friends. My son, 9, enjoys the hikes in nature. This multi-session, open-enrollment class is for middle and high school students who are continuing their training or discovering a love of theatre for the first time. Tennis 3 - Brigham Young University
Join BYU mens tennis head coach Brad Pearce for a week of incredible tennis! Learn strategies, tactics and techniques through drills, on-court instruction and singles and doubles play. Players will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all major strokes and will practice these strokes through feeding, live-ball drilling and competitive match-play. Students will hone their skills as they have an opportunity to advance through each of five stations that are set up to practice every aspect of their game. They will also have an opportunity to improve their fitness and participate in competitive off-court games that focus on enhancing their flexibility through stretching, agility and endurance. In addition, they will play competitive matches in both singles and doubles. This is excellent preparation for anyone interested in participating in high school tennis or preparing to compete in USTA leagues and/or tournaments. On Friday of each week, all participants will play in an individual singles tournament against players that are at their level. Trophies are awarded for the winners and runner-ups, but all will play multiple matches. The camp concludes after the tournament on Friday with an awards ceremony.
