LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Fantasy Dance Camp - Winnetka Community House
This very popular camp incorporates imagination, movement, pantomime, music, dance and enchanting costumes to make for a wonderful summer experience. Each week we will explore a new theme, learn basic ballet, improve motor skills, complete an arts & crafts project and enjoy a yummy snack. Please have your child toilet trained as the insturctor will not change diapers. This camp meets one cay a week for two hours. You may sign up for as many days as you wish. Ultimate Tennis / Game Theory Camp II (Grades 1-8) - WWP High School North
Ultimate Tennis / Game Theory Camp II (Grades 1-8) In the morning camp will feature games, drills, and team-oriented activities designed to develop skills, strengthen consistency and build player confidence. Attention will be given to both singles and doubles games. Afternoon hours will take place in the classroom and will be devoted to game theory and mental toughness. Daily sessions will provide interactive games, activities and simulations designed to build confidence, mental toughness and a better understanding of competitive situations. Two different sessions are offered. Participants can sign up for one or both sessions. Staff: Albert Paulsson and varsity athletes Pre and post camp care is available at Millstone River school through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. This exciting class teaches you how to build and program the new LEGO Mindstorms NXT robot, the coolest robot available. You will use your new skills to meet such challenges as reacting to intruders, moving objects to different locations, stinging an intruder with a robot tail, or beating your opponent at Robot Sumo. Summer 2016 ID Camp - Panthersville
The BSSC ID Camp at GSU is intended for prospective student athletes who have the desire to play soccer at the collegiate level and beyond. Training sessions will be conducted by collegiate coaches with the purpose of replicating an everyday college training session. Enrollment will be limited and accepted on a first-served basis. Limit to 8 GKs per camp.

Little Stars (July 25) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp is a special introduction to acting that gives each child a chance to shine! Whether your child loves to do "shows" in your living room, or you wish they felt more comfortable expressing themselves, in this camp every voice is heard. We use creative movement and fun acting games that boost confidence and help build the body-mind connection. With a camper to caring counselor ratio of 4:1, there is a lot of individual attention. Confidence grows as children share their ideas and impressions, working collaboratively on their skit. Each week there are improv games and fun activities that help with concentration and observation skills. During the week campers sing and tell some jokes onstage, build a shoe box set, and paint the scenery for the show. Each day campers practice and prepare for their skit on Friday. We laugh a lot! INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTERS-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter.
