Although photography is the worlds newest art form, as a concept it was known by Aristotle. In this brief course we will review the evolution of photography from its beginnings to the digital cameras of today. Along the way, youll be introduced to some of the most influential individuals who played an important role leading to the creation of modern photography. We will discuss how painting influenced photography and how photography influenced painting. In just three sessions, well have a chance to see the oldest surviving photographs, Daguerreotypes, Silver Nitrate prints, early color photographs, modern pixel- based images and much more. Lacrosse - Middle & Lower School - Sports at The Heights School
Develop individual and team skills in a fun and positive environment. Become a better lacrosse player and let loose with Coach Mitchell and his fun-loving staff. Each player will be grouped by age and skill and partake in drills designed to teach every aspect of the game while emphasizing the fundamentals. Players will be placed on even teams and game and tournament play will be designed to spark competition and teach sportsmanship. In between lacrosse, players will enjoy other fun activities such as a pool trip, water slides, and individual competitions for prizes. Coach Mitchell will be joined by other Heights coaches, Heights alums, and visits from elite college and professional players.
