Teen Camp Chinatown Planting Service Project - Chicago, IL
Our service project will be this Saturday. We'll meet up at church first at 8:30 AM and go from there. The project will last until 12:00 PM. All are welcomed to participate, but remember, you must be there if you anticipate that you'll be requesting a need-based scholarship for Teen Camp 2015. Pre National Championship Player Evaluation Camp Session 5 - Kennesaw State University (Stillwell Stadium)
Well over 1000 Coaches embark on Georgia every Summer looking to identify the next members of their Recruiting Classes at the 16/17/18U National Championships. Sometimes with so many games going on at once, spread over so many different venues, quality players get overlooked. Owls Baseball Camp attempts to solve both problems by offering the first ever Pre National Championship Player Evaluation Camps. Each session will be open to players in the 9th-12th grade. Each player will be given the opportunity to jump on the radar of the many coaches and scouts expected to be in attendance by impressing in a skill evaluation workout while also obtaining valuable instruction that can be used to help take each of their games to the next level. The tentative schedule (subject to change) for each session will include: Speed Evaluation Positional Instruction Defensive Evaluation Offensive Evaluation Bullpens for Pitchers (Bullpens will be designed to ensure players receive a quality assessment without hurting their ability to be ready for the National Championship) Each Session will be limited in the number of participants to ensure that each attendee is given ample opportunity to showcase his ability. ***A team discount is available for teams of 10 players... 6786408422.0

Arduino I - Da Vinci Science Center
Arduino I* - $350 (July 18 – July 22) Todays technology: computer controlled Do-It-Yourself electronic projects facilitated by Arduino. Arduino is a micro-controller with user friendly coding that can be used to interact with the physical world. This Arduino starter camp will provide basic instruction on how to use the Arduino micro-controller to perform a variety of different tasks. This is a full day camp and includes a $50.00 material fee for take home electronic parts and accessories. Golf: Junior Half Day Summer Camp 7/11 - Offsite Location
Junior Half Day Golf Camp will teach the fundamentals of golf, the full swing, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette in a fun and creative learning environment. All golf lessons are held at Camarillo Springs Golf Course, located at 791 Camarillo Springs Road. If needed, golf clubs and balls can be provided to those who do not have their own. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bring your receipt to the first class and arrive 5-10 minutes early. See instructor and sign waiver form at first class. If your class if outdoors, please dress for warm/cool weather and bring a water bottle. Incoming 7th and 8th Graders will learn the basic usage and safety of some hand tools, power tools and machinery (routers, drill press, scroll saw, spindle sander, disc sander, palm sander, cordless drill, lathe). All activities will be demonstrated and supervised by Mr. Caris, the current Woodworking teacher at NBJH. Students will choose a project from a list based on their experience. The list will be sent home in the FIRST week of the course. Examples include a cutting board, wood bowl, routed sign, garden tray, gumball machine, and bag toss game.
