The Seattle Prep freshman football coaching staff is hosting a 9-day football camp for all incoming 9th grade students interested in joining our football family. This is a wonderful opportunity for your son to begin cultivating relationships that will last a lifetime, meet the freshman and varsity coaching staffs, and enjoy developing skills and fundamentals of football. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting two weeks of football and get to know our student-athletes. We will teach all campers the fundamentals and skills that are needed to compete in football safely. Most importantly, we will teach a winning attitude that will enable each camper to become the best individual and team player he can be. This is a contact camp. However, contact is limited with various tempos being used for teaching purposes as we develop our young Panthers. Youth Aquatics Holiday Camp (Dec. 19 - Jan. 6) - Sarasota, FL
Nathan Benderson Park's Youth Aquatics Holiday Camp gives your child the opportunity to learn on the lake! Campers will learn to kayak, row, dragon boat, stand up paddleboard, RC sailboat control, and powerboat safety. 3 sessions are offered to meet the needs of your family: Week 1: December 19 - 22 Week 2: December 27 - 30 Week 3: January 3 - 6 Camp runs from 9AM to noon each day Ages 10 to 18 $120 for a one week session (Before and after care are available for an additional fee) Each day your child will receive morning instruction on land before going on the water. Campers must wear sandals with heel straps, dress in layers, bring a healthy snack, water bottle, hat and SUNSCREEN. Certain age restrictions apply for boaters safety course. 3rd Annual Fireworks Fundraiser "Celebrate and Laugh" for Avengers Fre
The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor! Enjoy a barbecue style meal, laughs by Comedians Mic Larry and Simply Shanell and enjoy the sounds of singing sensation and recording artist Johnyce! There will be music, dancing and many activities, as well as a VIP charter ride to and from the event! But most of all, you will be a part of helping the Avengers...
