Teen Leadership Summit - Seattle, WA
Join Camp Fire for a daylong conference just for teens to build leadership skills that will prepare you for the school year ahead. Workshop sessions may include topics such as communication, goal setting, mindset management, teamwork, leadership style and the impact of service learning. This event is a great way to learn about Camp Fire programs like Teens in Action or the Spring Break Road Trips and kick-off the year ahead! Camp Fire will also present information about how to begin earning your Wohelo Award, the highest achievement in Camp Fire. Find your youth voice and learn to put it into action! Prior experience in Camp Fire, Camp Sealth, or program membership is not required. Lunch and all workshop materials will be provided by Camp Fire and is included in your registration fee. Film Crew 102 - Independent Film Making Winter 2016 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
Class meets: January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 28, March 6, 13, 20 No class February 14 or February 21 Everyone has a story. In this course, students will learn how to express themselves through the visual medium of motion pictures. Students will create an individual, independent film based on a story from their own life. We will work together through the entire process, from writing the story basics, and sequencing, to exploring setting, props and costuming. Free film making apps will be utilized. Students should bring their own digital device to use for filming. A few will be available for use onsite and for editing sessions. Instructor, Jenn Teed will assist students in developing their ideas into a completed film. Film Festival and family reception from 2:30pm-3:30pm on the last day of class. 734-416-4278

Summer Day Camp Session 1 - Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium
Each Day Camp session will focus on skill development for the young soccer player. Campers will learn a host of different soccer skills and techniques through various exercises and games that are specifically designed for younger players. Campers are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace under the careful guidance of the director and his expert staff. This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of soccer in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added and games will focus on team play and scrimmages will be held to demonstrate tactical understanding. All participants need a soccer ball, shin guards, soccer shoes, a water bottle, a snack and sunscreen.
