LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Percussion - Band Camp 2016 - Natick High School
This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have AT LEAST ONE YEAR of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week. The band directors will be supported by high school musicians who will help mentor the kids throughout the week. 508-647-6400 x1773

Our dedicated Instructors have designed Kids Mini-Camps for all the days that the kids are off from school between now and the New Year. Students will experiment with different mediums to create a new masterpiece each day! Students are welcome to bring a peanut-free snack and drink. LIGHT TO DARK: DARKROOM EXPLORATION - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls.
