LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Two Week Fandom/Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Demigod Institute and August Camp Half-Blood are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. Whitetail Resort's Kid's Adventure Camps - Mercersburg, PA
This day camp for children ages 7-12 offers an opportunity to experience many outdoor activities throughout the day. Campers arrive each morning ready to get outside and expand their horizons. They start the day with a game of kickball or a snack of fruit before heading to their first session. Each camper is placed with a group of peers to experience these adventure based programs. From navigating the resort with a compass to paddling kayaks on the reservoir, they are certain to work up an appetite. A healthy lunch is provided at our Tubing Lodge for their mid-day break before resuming activities in the afternoon. After lunch, it’s back to the woods for an archery lesson or to build wilderness huts. This year we will be holding different event at the Hope Mills Location to raise money for the No Kid Go Hungry Campaign from August 18 -September 28, 2015. Since 2011, the Arby's Foundation has been a national charity partner of Share Our Strength*s No Kid Hungry* campaign (NKH). As NKH's largest quick service restaurant partner, the Arby's Foundation has raised over $5 million in the past two years to support NKH and other hunger-fighting organizations in the communities that Arby's serves. Activities are plan as follows. Daily Business Spotlight From August 18 -September 28, 2015 Vendors will check in with the manger of the store and set up in designated area Arby's will have a business spotlight section where the vendors can set up there displays. The Bear Valley Soccer Camp strives to provide the highest level soccer coaching in a setting that feels like an old fashioned summer camp. With our natural setting high in the Sierra, campers are treated to a beautifully manicured natural grass soccer field, swimming in several local lakes and streams, campfires and more. The soccer is serious. The rest if pure fun. 2016 Bear Valley Soccer Camp once again features coaching from Santa Clara University assist.Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Curtis McAlister. Coach McAlister brings with him a coaching crew of Santa Clara Womens Soccer alumni. Learn the Beautiful Game at 7100 in the Central Sierra ski town of Bear Valley. This co-ed camp is for players 9-16. Both overnight and day camp options available. Besides top level soccer instruction, campers experience High Sierra fun with lake kayaking, guided rock climbing, camp fires and plenty of swimming. Accommodations are at the Bear Valley or Base Camp Lodge, which is given entirely over to our camp for the week, with adult supervised separate gender floors. Meals are at the Bear Valley Lodge across the street. Meals are plentiful and nutritious.
