Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker. Week 8 5 Half Days AM Stamford Summer All Sports Camp - Turn of River Middle School
For Boys and Girls ages 4-12. This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups.
