Drama Advanced Placement 7:25 PM Monday - New Childrens Theatre of Cincinnati
Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. Please contact Jay Goodlett to confirm that you have the required training to participate. The last class of the session will be a performance class. Parents/Guardians are invited to attend. Audition-Only College Level Teen Acting Intensive with Special Guest Instructors - Arts Effect Downtown
** PLEASE NOTE: You must audition and be accepted into this class BEFORE you register. This college-level acting workshop lead by Katie Cappiello and Meg McInerney along with Tisch School of The Arts faculty guests will focus on intense scene study and character development. Students will be challenged by advanced sense memory, improvisation, and text analysis exercises as they prepare scenes to be presented at the end of the workshop. Students will be assigned and emailed a scene prior to the workshop. This 5-day master class will require students to not only work in class on their pieces but also independently with scene partners outside of class – as they would in any theater arts college program. Session #2 Water Polo Festival/Instructional Camp Combo - Morning (Co-Ed) - Stanfords Avery Aquatic Complex
Skill Level: CAMPS FOR INTERMEDIATE / BEGINNING WATER POLO PLAYER Our second session combines both instruction and fundamental skills with scrimmages. This is a ½ day only session, perfect for those who attended the first session and those with some experience. Robot Mechanic-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Campers will learn about the science of robotics with historical information, discoveries, and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots at the end of the week! This year Club SciKidz will be featuring our 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot kit and our 14-1 Solar Space Fleet. In addition to these projects, campers will learn how to solder with our LED Robot Blinker. The skills learned such as wiring, gear building, and soldering will allow campers to go on to more sophisticated robot creation. The 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot is a multi-function tracked mobile robotic kit. Utilize different track modules and make your robot transform into 3 amazing variations: the forklift, rover, and gripper. Using the wired controller, command the robot to move forward, backward, turn, grip and lift. Shooting & Finishing (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their performance on the attack by becoming the ultimate threat in the offensive third: The goal scorer. Players will learn proper mechanics and techniques of shooting and finishing in various game-like scenarios. After completion of the Shooting & Finishing camp, we recommend progressing to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training course.
