Pastels: Animal Portraits - Barn Second Floor
Would you like to learn how to draw realistic animals? If your subject is wild, or domesticated, we will learn anatomical sketching, of any animal. Students will learn the pastel techniques for creating realistic fur, and feathers. Well explore placing the animal in a realistic landscape, or in a portrait-style background. Elite Camp Session - (Boys) - Van Andel Soccer Stadium - Hope College
The Elite Camp provides an intense, rewarding, and fun experience for campers. The camps unique curriculum balances instructional sessions and live match situations each day. This combination of training and playing helps campers transfer the skills and tactics developed into game play. Each camper is assigned to a team upon arrival at camp. Montessori Atrium Parent Toddler Group 18-36 Months The parent-toddler group meets once a week in the All Saints Montessori Toddler Atrium environment. Children accepted into the program are ages 18-36 months and must be accompanied by parent. Children need not be potty trained to be accepted into our program. Children explore activities of Practical Life, Sensorial and Language materials along with seasonal presentations of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with the aid of a Montessori atrium guide. Parents observe and learn together with their children gaining insights into supporting their childs growth and development, nurturing the whole child. A Montessori book group, parenting support and exploration of creating a Montessori space in the home as an aid to the child are discussed. There are no refunds once the program begins. Minecraft Programming Using LUA Using a custom mod called Computercraft, students will learn how to program robots called Turtles inside the world of Minecraft. Kids will utilize problem-solving skills by learning how to program their robots to complete various tasks such as programming their turtles to automatically build, mine, and craft items and structures. They will be introduced to programming if-then-else statements, for-while loops, and implement their own functions using LUA, a simple scripting language.
