Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. The only requirements are completion of Pop Songs Level 1 and a vested interest in ear-friendly musical makes ups. Taught by iOWest Musical Director Eric Schackne (323) 962-7560

America's Talent Tutoring Adolescent Services is hosting it's first annual summer camp. We will be utilizing basketball as a platform to discuss health and fitness. The camp will also focus on the realities that we face in the world such as bullying, interaction with law enforcement, individual life skills abilities. With the right type of foundation being provided our youth will have insurmountable success and the desire to pursue secondary and post secondary education. The summer camp will assist parents by providing support and resources parents can utilize to keep an idle mind occupied.

Chef Travis Levi (a survivor himself) will be leading the teens through everything from the importance of kitchen etiquette to making healthy choices. There are few things more pleasurable about fall than giving in to every whim to bake and cook. Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. Awakening Teen Camps - Kansas City, MO
Awakening Teen Camp seeks to equip teens ages 12–18 with Bible-based teaching to live a lifestyle of prayer, worship, and wholehearted love for Jesus. Teens are housed at our local Camp and Training Center, as well as our local YWAM base. Meals are provided through our camp kitchen, and transportation is provided by Awakening Teen Camp. Our group leaders excitedly work to equip teens to live lives of holiness while devoting their summers to pouring into the next generation and make lifelong memories. Days at Awakening Teen Camp are full of high-energy games and activities, bible classes, practical training, small group time, and powerful evening services. We want teens to come grow in the knowledge of God and be awakened to the joy of impacting this generation with His power, and have a ton of fun!

Our popular 6 day/5 night traditional camp experience in our main camp with a special addition. Campers will participate in a variety of camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, going to the creek, arts & crafts, and zip line among other things. They will also camp out one night at our "Out Post" Camp next to our creek where they will sleep in hammocks! 662-234-3350

Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. Please contact Jay Goodlett to confirm that you have the required training to participate. The last class of the session will be a performance class. Parents/Guardians are invited to attend. Sycamore science teacher Mr. McCarter has a long and successful history of coaching students in both the Vex and Lego robotics competitions. The competitions are great motivators, but the true value is the hands on learning that happens when students engage with robots. This camp is designed to do exactly that. Spring Break Olympic Peninsula Exploration - Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Join Blue Compass Camps for an exploration of the Beautiful Olympic Peninsula this Spring Break. We will hike, explorer history, visit the beach and the mountains. This trip will be as varied as the Olympics itself. We will spent time exploring coastal towns, majestic beaches and stepping into the rain forest around the Hoh River. As is the case with all Blue Compass Camps outdoor adventures: 1.) Our Goals, beyond having ridiculous amounts of fun with newly made friends, are to help develop social and self confidence while providing an exciting, challenging and unforgettable adventure experience. 2.) Our Staff support teens through compassionate strength-based perspectives, believing every adolescent has many gifts and unique qualities to offer.
